A hole-in-the-wall establishment with a decent selection of cajun food. The building was not super clean and the workers were not too attentive, but they were nice when they got to us. We waited for awhile for our food, but were patient as we heard good things about this place. My partners' food was great and had amazing flavor, and my side dishes of Mac & Cheese, sweet potatoes and cornbread was great.
However, the fried catfish I ordered was undercooked. I've caught, cleaned and cooked many catfish before, so I knew a raw one when I tasted it. I wanted to write a good review..... but I didn't pay $20 for my meal just to get side dishes. Hoping to go back sometime, but this experience was disheartening.

Taste of Louisiana deserves to be busy and stay that way. The food we had tonight was phenomenal. I had the Jambalaya with Cajun Mac, my fiancé got the chicken and sausage Alfredo (WOW), one friend got the beef tips (raved about the sauce on them), another got a shrimp po'boy, and another got the wings. We also ordered some of the beignets and banana pudding. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The chicken in my jambalaya practially melted it was so moist. The portions were a good size, we all took half the food home we were stuffed. All in all some of the best food I've eaten in my life and I went to culinary school. Keep it up!

This place is quite good, but not quite 5 stars in my opinion. There was only one guy working the entire place, so he had to take orders and then go back and cook. Props to him, but it made for a really slow dining experience. He was a super nice guy. The food was pretty good, but I've never had a Po Boy with melted cheese. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but that something I've never seen in Texas or Louisiana! The chicken wings were good, and MUCH bigger pieces of chicken than you'll see in most places. All in all, a pretty good place for something different!

This place is awesome the smell when we walked in was great. I'm bad with names but the gentleman working there opened the door for my mom which was very nice since she walks with a cane. You will eat well and be very full. Definitely go get some food I had red beans and rice with the chicken tenders with a side of sweet potatoes and would recommend it . Mom had the shrimp po boy and mac and cheese I'm not a fan of shrimp but did try the mac and cheese It was very good for me it could have used more spice but it was perfect for her and she loved both.

This is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The cornbread was perfection. The ox tails were meltingly tender. This is the Alfredo pasta I have waited my entire life to eat. I cannot imagine a more flavorful, decadent Alfredo pasta. The sweet potatoes were heavenly and transported me to Thanksgiving. The lemonade tasted like a melted jolly rancher in the best way. This is a one-man operation so you need to be patient. Savor the experience. These Cajun delicacies are worth the wait.

Really enjoyed all the flavours of the Jambalaya, pork chops, collards and potato salad. The cornbread was sweet and just the right texture. I'm a wimp so the collards were a little spicy for me but that doesn't mean they weren't good.
